Sunday, May 15

Well. A new opportunity and call has presented itself this spring.

Over the past three summers, I've been training and teaching with Child Evangelism Fellowship to spread the gospel to kids in western Wisconsin. This year I won’t be training to teach kids… I’ll be helping train their teachers!
For two weeks in June, I’ll be helping our area director and other CEF leaders as they train 12 young people from our area in Bible and missionary stories, songs, games, and the Wordless Book gospel presentation.
I’ll be working as a camp counselor as well as a team leader, which basically means that I get less sleep than the teens while maintaining all my energy. :)

It’s exciting to see the ways God is already working in the hearts of the teens on our team: they have been working hard to learn verses and stories before training starts, and most are still raising their
support for camp as well.

You can pray that I’ll be a blessing and an encouragement to them, as well as the other camp workers, and that I will rely on God for my strength instead of myself.

Also, you can pray that I receive full support for my stay at camp. I need about $1100 total, which is only around half of the support I needed - and received - last year!

Thank you for your prayers and support. I know God is going to do some incredible things through Child Evangelism in Western Wisconsin this year!
